stripy recycled pencil pendant
Inspired by the Op Art movement, this beautiful and minimal stripy pendant is made with factory rejected 'Derwent' pencils.
Ready to brighten up your wardrobe, this multicolour pendant is made with factory rejected Derwent pencils. The brightness of the colour leads, their size and the intense pigments used in these artist quality pencils really shows in this unique piece.
We get the pencils sent from the factory and we clean and bond them after carefully choosing colour palettes and combinations. Then we cut and shape them in our little studio and finally sealed them with an industrial lacquer to make them super strong and waterproof.
This organic shaped necklace is ultramegasuper recycled as we use our own 'waste' to create it. 'Leftover' pieces from our making processes are shaped slightly different making each piece very quirky and unique. Then they are carefully selected and handcrafted and then mounted on sterling silver fittings and natural rubber black cord.
It is super light for its size which makes it really easy to wear and the matt finished on the silver gives it a very attractive contemporary look and feel.
Natural rubber cord length in total: 40 cms approx.
Sterling silver extender: 5cms approx.
Pendant drop: 2.5 cms approx.
It comes presented in a smart black cardboard box explaining the recycled nature of the product which makes it an ideal present for someone special or for yourself and of course, the box is also made with recycled materials!
