chequered pencils drop earrings

These multicolour earrings have been made using recycled Derwent watercolour pencils.
We take the rejected pencils from the factory and combine them together to make colourful blocks that we cut and shape by hand to make this unique item using marquetry techniques. The pencils are carefully set to a walnut backing and mounted on sterling silver ear wires.
This pair of earrings is ready to post and it is presented in a kraft presentation card explaining the recycled nature of the item and protected in a soft cotton bag.
